Course Description
Anyone who wants to renew their IPC-A-600 Instructor Certification must take this one and a half (1,5) day day IPC-A-600 Instructor Certification. To maintain your 24-month certification, you must re-certify before your certification expires. To enhance an individual’s skill and ability to distinguish between acceptable and unacceptable printed boards, IPC-A-600 Instructor Certification (CIT) training aims to increase their understanding and proficiency. When a printed board should be accepted or rejected, students learn the reason for the instruction.
A certificate must be renewed every 24 months. IPC-A-600 Instructor Certification can complete a recertification Training Course within six months before the expiration of the certificate.
Certification
After completing the Course, students will take open book written examinations and be required to perform acceptable rework and repairs based on IPC-A-600 Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) Certification. A student who successfully completes this Course is rewarded with an IPC-A-600 Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) Certification that stays Valid for Two(2) Years. Students who have previously earned their Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) certification within the last two years may take part in a relevant recertification course/ training.

Curriculum:
Module 1 (Mandatory) – Introduction
This mandatory Module contains general content which pertains to all other section of the IPC-A-600J. Before certification to any additional knowledge modules may be granted, this module must be completed successfully.

Module 2 (optional) – Externally Observable Characteristics
This additional understanding module describes the criteria for assessing the acceptability of externally observable conditions of the substrate.

Module 3 (optional) – Internally Observable Characteristics
This additional learning module contains the criteria for internally evaluating the substrate’s condition.

Module 4 (optional) – Miscellaneous and Cleanliness
This additional learning module contains the acceptability standards for internally visible conditions of the substrate.
