To enhance an individual’s skill and ability to distinguish between acceptable and unacceptable printed boards, IPC-A-600 Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) training aims to increase their understanding and proficiency. When a printed board should be accepted or rejected, students learn the reason for the instruction. The IPC-A-600 Certified IPC Specialist Training and Certification Course is a high-intensity two and a half-day look at the IPC-A-600 Standard document.
After completing the Course, students will take open book written examinations. An IPC-A-600 Certified IPC Specialist Certification is valid for two (2) years after successfully completing this course. Students who have previously completed their Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) certification in the last two years may take advantage of a relevant recertification course or training.
